On Friday 27th September Lenham Primary School hosted a Macmillan coffee afternoon. Each class baked delicious cakes. And then they were put on sale for parents to enjoy. In return parents brought in a donation for the cakes.
Year R made some lovely cupcakes and they were enjoyed greatly. Year 1 made a chocolate cake and it was AMAZING!! Year 2 baked a fantastic Banoffee biscuit that everyone loved. Year 3 created an astonishing Eton mess with fruit or sweets on top. Year 4 decided to make a chocolate fridge cake to sell on their stall and it was DELICIOUS!!!!! Year 5 cooked vegan (vanilla) cupcakes with mouth-watering icing. Lastly, Year 6 created a brilliant rocky road which everybody thought was amazing.
Well done to everyone. We managed to raise a superb £348 for Macmillan.
